BBQ Tikka Masala Butterfly Chicken
What you will need
½ jar OZGANICS Tikka Masala Curry Sauce
1 whole free range organic chicken
How to make it
Remove the back bone from the chicken with chicken shears or a sharp knife. Turn chicken over and press down on the chicken breast to flatten out the chicken. Spread the sauce all over the front and back of the chicken and place it in a large glass dish overnight or for at least 3 hours.
Preheat a barbeque to 200°C. Place the chicken on the hotplate breast side up. Cook for 25 minutes then turn over and cook the others side for a further 25 minutes. Insert a skewer into the thickest part of the chicken to see if it is cooked through. The chicken is cooked if the juices run clear.
Place the chicken on a serving plate and cut it into pieces using chicken shears.
Serve with a crisp salad or steamed vegetables.
